THINGS TO KNOW
-
The GT Family is the heart of our program — a community built on trust, effort, and shared values.
We support each other. We push each other. We show up for more than just the game. Players, coaches, and parents all play a role in living out what it means to be GREAT — on and off the court.
This isn’t just about basketball. It’s about building something real — together.
Once you’re in, you’re GT for life.
-
At Great Training, the name says it all.
Playing on a GT team isn’t just about games — it’s about the work. If you’re part of this program, you’re expected to train consistently, not occasionally.
Training Is Required
All GT players are strongly encouraged to participate in our weekly Academy sessions.
This is where skills are built, weaknesses are addressed, and players separate themselves.
Team practices alone aren’t enough. Greatness is earned in the extra hours — through shots, reps, sweat, and accountability.
Our Standard
We don’t do “just show up and play.”
We build complete players — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Training is what unites us. It’s what makes us different.
It’s what makes us GREAT.
-
Great Training has proudly partnered with Ocotillo Village Health Club since 2024.
This partnership has allowed us to build a consistent, high-level training environment for our teams and families — with access to elite facilities, safe spaces, and strong community support.
The Village is home to our weekly practices, academy sessions, and open runs.
Together, we’ve created a space where athletes can grow on and off the court.

At Great Training, we don’t just develop players — we build leaders.
Here’s what we ask of you as a GT parent:
Support the Process
Development takes time. Encourage effort, not just outcomes.
Respect the Boundaries
Coaching happens on the court. Cheering happens from the sideline.
Trust the Standards
Playing time is earned through training, attitude, and accountability — not politics.
Model the Energy
Players feed off their environment. Stay positive, present, and patient.
Represent the Brand
Whether at practice, in the stands, or on social media — you’re part of the GT family.
When parents and coaches are aligned, athletes win.
We’re grateful to have your family in this program.
Let’s make this a season full of growth, gratitude, and greatness.
